I really wanted to like this book but I just could not. I found it to be so slow even though there was action right from the beginning, I do not understand how it can be possible but it was. The premise was interesting because I have never read an ancient Egyptian suspense story and the beginning was good but I just could not get invested in the characters or even the suspense aspects. I found myself getting bored with the story because of the historical elements. I'm not a fan of historical fiction in general, so this was a stretch for me from the start.
I personally did not finish this book but I would still recommend it to those who like thriller/ suspense and historical books, objectively I could tell that it was a good book just not for me.
