This is the first book I read in the Egyptian series by Wilbur Smith. I found the book to be intriguing. I normally do not read this genre but I am glad that I won this book and gave it a chance.
There are several books in his Eygptiain series and I will be going back to read them as well. I think I will have a better understanding of this book once I have read those and will probably reread this book again at that time. That said, this was a stand-alone about a side character (from what I gathered after looking this series up online after I won the book and received it in the mail).
I liked the cover and that it was simplistic. It did not really give any clues about the story itself so you would have to read the book to really find out what is going on.
