This books seems to lay in the middle of a series so that tends to make it an automatic not for me. The plot seems alright, kind of a been there done that of Egyptian brothers plotting against one another. The writing seems lush, however, and full of descriptive imagery. I’d imagine this story wouldn’t make much sense if you weren’t already a fan of the existing series.
