Any time I review a book (or even a first impression) I try to think about whether or not it would be a good book for someone else, even if I am not the “target audience.” So much of the language played into typical tropes of male conquest, which to me seems dated, but hey- the writing didn’t seem too bad?
The cover actually gave me Silence of the Lambs/Hannibal vibes for some reason- didn’t put me in the place of the book.
