based on what i have just read in the synopsis, this book looks like it will be a cross between an adventure across a kingdom, and political intrigue (what with everyone grappling for power in the city of Lahun)! i'm excited for the setting because i have not read too many books set in Egypt, and i also look forward to seeing the Hui's character arc of sorts!
