I will start by admitting I didn't read the synopsis first. I saw "Egypt" and jumped right in. The first couple of pages read easily but still with colorful enough imagery to draw me in. Within the first 20 pages, one of the characters already betrayed my expectations and things quickly took a sinister turn. I was instantly drawn in and, now reading the synopsis after, I've determined I need more. I'm not sure if the whole "mystery/thriller" classification is truly accurate, but regardless I'm sold.
