This seems to be more like a fantasy/historical fiction book, and I don't mind it. It has an interesting start and I truly appreciate the Egyptian theme. So much fiction is usually centered in American or Western European culture/settings, so I think this is a nice change. While this might not be for me, I do like the overall concept of this novel.
