The summary and cover definitely drew me in. Based on the summary, this seems like a book I would scoop up and devour quickly. The story has a promising start up as I read further I was already annoyed with it being written in first person point of view. First person POV is one of those bookish pet peeves for me and has to be executed very well for me. The writing style was already grating on my nerves. I still may give it a chance.
