I read this book in one setting. The way the author told the story both from Autumn and her sister Ivy and connection between the two stories really kept me engaged and turning the pages. Both characters were well developed and as a reader I rooted for both sisters. I hoped that Autumn would be found and I really connected with Ivy. The storyline kept me hooked right from the beginning. The author’s themes of friendship, the bonds of sisterhood, moving on after tragedy, and family secrets were interwoven throughout the story in a very believable way. I don’t want to give two much away, but I definitely recommend this book, especially as a parent of a teenager. It gave an insight as to what kids experience in high school. This story and the author’s message is one that will stick with me for a very long time.
