Young Adult YA) stories can be hit or miss. And, despite the really great blurb, and my previous first look impression - I thought it would redeem itself.

It doesn't.

And, I'm sorry but this isn't a book I would've read as a teen. I wouldn't want my teen reading it. I feel as though the subject material, in some ways, is far too adult for younger audiences. Then again, an adult wouldn't enjoy it either.

There is far too much wrong with this to redeem itself. And, it sadly centers on the character of Autumn. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about her at all. And, I wouldn't want anyone I know potentially reading it.

It sometimes becomes unrealistic with how bad Autumn acts. It is as if she thinks the rules don't and shouldn't apply to her.

There is far too much wrong here, but let's go with this:

Autumn is an atrocious child. No she didn't deserve what happened to her, it was hard not to see it coming because of what she was doing.

As the story went on, I didn't care what happened, I just was glad I borrowed a copy and returned it.
