I think this book is taking a while to find its stride. Even by the end of the first look though, the writing is flowing more naturally, and the dialogue of the characters is more realistic. Some of the expressions used are really unnatural and jolted me out of the reading. The book seems like it could really take off, but I'd like it to do so quickly and more smoothly. I would love to see Autumn and Ivy find a way to have a relationship and really get to know one another. The cover is suitably ominous, but a little plain.
