Polar opposite sisters, and an ominous feeling

It's impressive for one author to write completely opposite characters in a way that both feel real. It's sad that these sisters don't know each other well or talk to each other when they have the shared history of losing their mother. From the synopsis, I know the older sister is going to go missing so I already feel for Ivy. Maybe this will actually help her to find out more about who her sister really was. At least she's got a good group of friends to help her through the tough times. I look forward to reading more of this book one day.
