The YA I normally read tends to be in the fantasy genre but the few YA crime-related novels I've read have been mixed. This one seems like it got off to a great start. Autumn seems like a spitfire which I always love in female characters, while Ivy sounds like me as a teenager. The story so far reads fairly mature as well. The cover however is a bit dull. The image is fine, but the color is blah.
