Comes off as a fresh New Adult thriller.

I like that there are two perspectives. They seem distinct but well-connected. Autumn comes off strongest as far as vividness of character. She seems gritty with a bleak past and harsh tone. Ivy seems softer but not that far removed from the overall mood of the book which seems dark and twisted. I really like the flavorful style of writing, it seems far from boring. Some of the edginess comes off as over-the-top. Pretty sure this would be an easy one to get into though and the plot based on the summary seems very intense. Last thing of note- the cover. I think it's unattractive and really doesn't do much to reflect the punchy writing within. Would be totally unnoticeable in a bookstore amidst much more distinctive covers, as the colors and style is drab.
