I have been very, very intrigued by this.
Though it was written by an author that is non white, like The Davebad trilogy, I do hope this has a good representation of POC characters.
The first chapter sounded very promising - you get to feel for the character and her status and her focus in the world she lives in.
I am very excited to see where this book leads. I hope none of those insta-love attractions and a relationship that requires a friend and a slow burn love interest.
