Right from the first line, I was hooked, and as I kept reading I was happy to learn that our narrator is a risk taker and an adventure seeker, so you know the book is going to be good! This book contains all the essential elements of a good fantasy: people with magical abilities, friendship, hardship, coming-of-age, action all in a unique fantastical world with economic inequality and politics. I can't wait to read more!
