I was initially drawn by the stunning cover, and the comparisons to Victoria Aveyard and Holly Black, two authors that I enjoy reading.

As I started reading, I was quickly drawn into the world of Zahru and Hen, two girls who are looking for adventure. The writing is clear, simple, and evocative, and the plot sounds fascinating. Hen is the mischievous leader with a talent that is destined to take her places, while Zahru is more of a follower, with a less prestigious talent. Zahru craves interesting experiences, that she isn't likely to get by relying on her talent.

I'm curious to see how this story plays out, and I'm definitely looking forward to reading the whole thing!
