Best use of the Chosen One trope
By this point, I'm pretty much over the chosen one trope. I don't need to see another hero destined from page one to overcome the bad guy (and prophecies spoil their own story anyway). But the idea of a protagonist chosen for a horrible thing and having to overcome it is intriguing. I have literally no idea how the main character is gonna come out of this and that's the best part.
