From the cover alone, I'd be likely to pick this up. I love purple covers! And it has a pretty simplicity to it. Reading the excerpt, I really enjoyed the writing style. Love the humor and banter between close friends. And I love the world building already with the "kings/queens" descending from Gods, etc. I'm interested to read more and will be adding this book to my Goodreads!
