Lately, most books I start to read just don't hold my attention. Either they're too heavy with the world building and too shallow in the character development, or they just have boring openings. But this one has certainly piqued my interest! Not only because of it's well-written world and descriptions, but also because of the summary. And because I love the very small genre of desert fantasy! This one I would certainly read more of!
