Loved every minute of reading this. *spoilers* - Emily escapes her family home as he mom and sister are brutally raped and murdered. She manages to flee and survive for awhile on her own, when she meets Lucas. Lucas is a hardass former gang member who has also lost his family is violence. Emily eventually seeks revenge but not without some trouble along the way. She does catch up to the murderers rather quickly with the help of Lucas, and kills them.
The book isn't long and was a fast read. I definitely enjoyed reading it. My only complaint so to speak, is that there was more. It had a rush to it. There could have been more to being able to find the killers then there was.
