The Hiding Girl is a mystery/thriller novel centered around a 12 year old girl names Emily Calby. Emily is the soul survivor of a horrible murder that leaves the rest of her family dead. The only person who knows Emily is still alive is the killer.
Emily basically goes on the run trying to stay away from the person who killed her family. She ends up with a gang member who she convinces to teach her how to kill and now she must try to right the wrongs that have happened to her.
The book was well written and defiantly leaves you wanting more at the end. The good news is this is only the first book in the Emily Calby Series so I can't wait to see where the rest of the story goes and how Emily's character grows with the series.
