The hiding girl is a fantastically written book that holds a lot of mystery and intrigue. Even in the first couple chapters, there are so many unanswered questions pulling you in. It starts with a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting to know more for the rest of the book. It follows the adventures of a girl on the run trying to figure out what to do with the rest of her life and seek justice for her family. Dorian Box pulls you in with masterful writing and alluring characters that have mysteries of their own. You'll find yourself feeling like you are on Emily's journey with her. You really get immersed into her story and feel everything the characters are feeling. The Hiding Girl is a story full of mystery and intrigue with sharp ties to the main character's dark past. You jump back and forth between the present and before "the change". This really adds another level to the story and allows you to see more deeply into the character's lives. Would definitely recommend it if you enjoy adventure, mystery, or action.
