I absolutely loved this book and Emily Calby's story so far. More than anything, I loved the development of her relationship with Lucas and how they grew together. A young girl with no where to go, she turns to a con-artist who shelters her and teaches her how to defend herself and helps her to seek revenge on the men who destroyed her family. At first, I thought maybe she was a little too young to be acting the way she was, but trauma changes people, even kids that young, so it wasn't as unbelievable as I first thought it was. The one thing that bothered me throughout this book was the use of "omg." I felt like it wasn't necessary, and it was pretty jarring from the rest of the text. It was a very minimal thing though, and didn't keep me from enjoying the book as a whole. I can't wait to see what Emily and Lucas have been up to in the next book!
