The Hiding Girl is a dark and dirty thrill ride that hooked me in and left me breathless and wanting more. Dorian Box has written a story that evokes an emotional roller coaster in the reader. I laughed, I cried, and I tirelessly rooted for Emily. This is not a realistic story, so if you are offended by far fetched situations, unrealistic friendships, and persistent bad luck then this is not a novel for you. I enjoy reading anything that has the ability to draw me in and make me one with the story. This tale definitely did that and more. This is a really great piece of fiction that shows how heroes can be found in the most unlikely of places and how you can never tell who someone is just by looking at them.
