This wasn't my cup of tea. Typically I like mysteries and thrillers, but this first look just didn't grab me the way others have. It's not that it was bad, and perhaps you just need a few more chapters to really get into it, but I don't feel like I got enough out of this first look to feel invested in the characters or the story. It seems like it has a fast pace to it, which I often like in mysteries, but to me nothing really distinguished this first couple of chapters from hundreds of other mysteries I've read.
