Part narrative, part podcast, this story reads similar to Sadie by Courtney Summers. However, the weight is a little less intense despite the subject matter.

This story is an introspective look into the lives of four teens whose high school careers changed irrevocably following a tragic early morning summer car crash. It has all of the elements you might expect with added Los Angelos glitz and glamor.

Right away there is a snide jab about the death of their young classmate and comparisons to OJ's affluence. Because, of course, guilty parties always seem to get away with a lot more when there is money involved.

Like most high school thrillers you will find yourself on a roller coaster of conspiracy theories as the events surrounding the tragedy come to light. If you are looking for a quick read with true crime sensationalism, then look no further. You will not be disappointed.
