I enjoyed The Headmaster’s List. It was a fast read and I liked the characters. Spencer is trying to find out what really happened the night of a car crash she was involved in where one person dies. It was interesting the different ways Spencer and Jackson went about investigating when no one, including the police, would help. I did kind of know pretty early what happened but I still enjoyed the build up. I did find some things odd. Like why Spencer didn’t see a therapist after the accident? And that her parents didn’t seem to notice her anxiety after the accident. Why the police didn’t investigate more about the scene of the accident. I love the addition of bringing a service dog in the book and showing how the dog calmed Spencer when needed. If you enjoy teen sleuth mystery this is a book for you. I would definitely read other books by this author in the future.
