This book was better than I thought it was going to be. I already really liked the book from reading the first look and I really liked the cover, but it was better than I had even expected. Melissa De La Cruz is such a good author!
I loved how the book was formatted, it made the book more interesting instead of just having it written in a normal format. I love how she used a podcast in the book since podcasts have been becoming more popular in the past few years. I also really liked how she had a police report in the book! I feel like that made the book way more interesting, at least to me, because then it was another thing to look at to better understand what was going on in the book and the crime. The way she describes things makes the book better than the usual mystery and thriller types of books. I cannot wait until she comes out with another book, because it will probably be even more interesting than this one! Not everyone will think the same as me, some think it isn't that interesting, but I think that it was done really well.
