I used my points from Bookishfirst to be able to get this book, and I must say I was glad I did. It was a fun simple read, and I did love the fact that it was written looking towards Spencer but also written like it was true transcripts from the investigation and podcast. From the tagline, I was able to place how it all played out in a way but there were fun twist and turns and you could not help but feel for Spencer as she tried to figure out what truly took place. Not to mention I adored the sibling bond that seem to bring out the best of Spencer as her investigations went on a deep dive. Was this my favorite book? No. Did I like reading it, yes. The cover was great and did cause me want to read it, and if you like fun little suspenseful-like young adults book, you might enjoy this book. I would have loved if this book was like all transcripts but I get how that would have been harder to do.
