The Headmaster's List was a timely and enjoyable read because it was sent to me on the day it was published. That was an easy read with brief chapters, but all in all, I thought it was unrealistic and predictable. There are other YA mysteries that do it better, but I'm trying not to be too harsh because it's YA. After a fatal vehicle accident involving a kid from their school, Spencer awakens in the hospital, and she is confident that her ex-boyfriend is not at fault. She decides to demonstrate it.
The Headmaster's List is a gripping mystery/thriller that keeps readers on the edge of their seats until the final solutions are made clear. You are left in suspense from the cover image alone and the first page of the novel.
In all seriousness, I absolutely adored this book and would highly recommend it to ANYONE no matter if it's not in your normal category or not! 10/10 WHOOP
