I really enjoyed this book! I liked the concept of using a true police report format to give pertinent information a lot! I also enjoyed the podcast, giving the book multiple layers! It really felt like a High School drama that could be made into a movie!
I kept trying to figure out where the story was going because there was so much push back on the main character but she was tenacious and I was rooting for her! So many people deserved answers but not too many people were willing to look for them! Although I’m an adult I still was hooked waiting for the twist at the end! This is not my first novel by Melissa De La Cruz and as a Young Adult author she doesn’t disappoint! I would recommend this book to others as it’s an easy read that draws you in! From the eye catching cover to the description that finds you wanting more and the characters are icing on the cake!
