Being no stranger to Melissa de la Cruz's books I had extremely high expectations going into this book and she did not disappoint! There is so much going on in this story from the car accident to relationship cheating to memory loss to alcohol abuse and PTSD - this book combined all of these things flawlessly and created one heck of a story. I enjoyed the characters Ms. Cruz brought to life in this book as well. I feel like she hit home with the combination of so many things young adults can go through and be exposed to during that period of their life. I really enjoyed the addition of the dog's character Ripley. This book was fast paced - I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to get to that ending! The twists and turns in this book were top notch and unexpected. I am definitely looking forward to reading more from Melissa de la Cruz in the very near future!
