First, this book should not have been called “The Headmasters List” cause while it was talked about in passing, there really was no benefits that were ever shown given to the characters. It felt like a coincidence rather than reasoning.
Instead, we should call it “Ripley, The Service Dog” because that’s the character who won over my heart! Spencer is given a service dog super duper fast after getting into an accident where one passenger died. Her ex bf is taking the fall and Spencer know this isn’t right even though she remembers nothing
This was a super quick read but the ending just ruined it. The twist on top of twists only works if the second twist is crazier than the first and this was not. The ending was also super rushed even though there was no reason to be.
It definitely was better than most of the YA mystery novels I’ve read as of late tho!
