Might be convinced to try this author again - The Headmaster's List
I've read a few books by this author and have been left unimpressed. I think she writes more toward younger teens; thus, her books usually miss the mark for me, a 30-year-old reader. After reading this first impression, I may be convinced to change my mind!
This reads like a teen thriller, centered around a car crash which left one teen dead. The format was incredibly engaging since it bounced between the POV of one of the teens, a police report, and a true crime podcast. Perhaps I need to give Melissa de la Cruz another shot.
