I am convinced that YA thrillers have some sort of stock in BookishFirst as they are the main thing I see. I am not a huge fan of the author but maybe she’ll surprise me with this thriller. The plot seemed derived and unoriginal and the writing meh, but I did like the cover. This type of book is like junk food for me, I know I don’t need it and won’t gain anything from it, but it’s fun when you’re bored. I am sure fans of YA thrillers will love this, especially fans of her previous works!
