It's been some time since I have read a good detective novel, and I have been reading quite a few lately. To be honest, I was turned off by the first encounter with the terrorist, thinking that I was going to encounter the terrorist plot, the terrorist's thinking, and then the kill. I wasn't completely wrong but way off the target (at least up until this point). My other thought that was I was going to get the other typical story where the lone cop is despised by other cops. It's not exactly that either - much more intriguing. I wish I could read the rest of the book now! I am using my points to claim this prize; however, if I hadn't the points I'd put it to win the book.
