I loved reading this first look of The Hanged Man's Tale by Gerald Jay. I've always been a fan of mysteries, ever since I first read an Agatha Christie story when I was in 7th grade. Now, most of the books that I read are mysteries. When I read the synopsis of this book, I was very intrigued by the concept of a police detective and a journalist working together to solve a crime. It's very interesting that they fall in love, since most mysteries don't have romance on the side. I'm interested to see how the romance works out. The crime itself was also interesting, and I like the use of tarot cards. I have a feeling that this book is going to be both creepy and thrilling, and that's exactly what I'm looking for as we approach Halloween. I've already added this book to my TBR list, and I can't when to read it when it comes out!
