Interesting but not for me
The Hanged Man's Tale unfolds in Paris in the year following the September 11th attacks on America. When a man turns up dead, hanged upside down in a canal, only days after a presidential assassination plot, everyone is on edge. Overall, the writing seems a bit heavy-handed, with cliche sprinkles of French interspersed throughout. I found it hard to get past the writing to become attached to the characters.
The jacket cover is definitely interesting and would likely draw a reader in. Generally, if you can look past the writing, this one may make an interesting story.
