I was thrown off a bit by the third person POV in this tale; for some reason it stuck out to me. There is a lot going on in the beginning of the book with several characters, references to events, and descriptions of Paris. Having never been nor not knowing much about it, some of the talk went over my head. This plot is fast moving and has me curious about who the hanged man is.
