Having read The Hiding Girl by Dorian Box, I fell in love with Emily Calby, who survived the brutal killing of her family. On the run, she hooks up with Lucas, who is a forger and a father figure for Emily. The Girl in Cell 49B, opens with Emily (now Alice) celebrating her sixteenth birthday. Emily takes her new fun (a present from Lucas with her as she walked to a gas station. She opens her mouth when she sees a motorcycle rider abusing his girlfriend. She runs and eventually is taken by the police. So looking forward to reading the continuing story of Emily and Lucas.
