Before I heard your perspective on sensitivity, I thought sensitivity was a curse. A curse that prevented me from functioning and fitting into society. Personally, I grew up with confidence and emotional strength. However, to childhood trauma experiences, drastically changed me, I felt my confidence being drained away. I was left with depression, and anxiety, which also led me to be extremely sensitive. I had a hard time trying to get a new job because of my mental state. Then you share how you gained confidence, shifting into a different personality helped you. I agree with that, and to add on I think confidence is super significant, because once you take your first step to becoming confident. You can do the next thing you want, and the next till the point you start doing what you want and be happy.

In your book, you also mentioned the importance of being grateful for what I have right now in order to be happy. It really left a mark on me, because I realize that I am not happy with what I am at right now. However, after reading your advice, I now truly understand that what I have right now may be another person's dream or goal. As a result, I should learn to be happy with myself and not compare myself with others. However, I disagree that we should stop running away from our current life, or even begin running away. From my perspective, we should embrace our current life since that is how we get from where we are.
