The Gift of Sensitivity is a one-woman's emotional journey. At no time did I feel like the author actually thought about her audience. Instead, she rambles on about her ideas on personality and the different, nuanced layers to it. As far as first impressions go, there's not a lot of scientific backing in the preview chapter. Instead, there are multiple open-ended questions that are supposed to lead the reader into a period of critical thinking.
