Never DNFed a First Impression before

The first impression starts us on chapter 4, so maybe we miss the "easing in" portion of the book, and if so, it does this impression a disservice. The paragraphs are extremely lengthy and the narration is unclear. Sorting out exactly what was being said took three paragraphs, and at that point, I'd lost interest.
