Look, it is not the author's fault that this thing starts at Chapter 4. But it also doesn't help the cause, because I feel thrown into the deep end without any context whatsoever. The writing still feels very choppy to me in places, and very clunky in others, regardless of context. I am a very emotional person, and I don't aim to stifle my emotions, so maybe this just isn't meant for me? Idk but hopefully there are those out there who find value in it!
