Martine is Evelyn’s clone, made from her own research. Personality wise, she’s the opposite of Evelyn in every way. When she starts having an affair with Evelyn’s husband and he ends up dead, the two women have to work together to clean up the mess.
This was a hard one to put down! I had so many different reactions when reading this book. I could probably do a reel with them all! 😆
I don’t normally read science fiction, so this one was a bit out of my comfort zone. When I read the synopsis though I just knew I had to have it.
I really enjoyed the story, but I’m not quite sure how I feel about the ending. I would still say that the book was a solid 4⭐️. It surprised me, had me engrossed in the story, and was different from my usual read.
Perfect for thriller fans, science fiction readers, or if you’re looking for a quick and interesting read. Even if you’re not a sci-fi fan, this is a book that you can follow. If you like Blake Crouch, definitely pick this one up!
