Sarah Gailey’s Echo Wife is one of a kind. The cover is a great and subtle way to introduce the story. She takes the concept of cloning mixed Stepford Wife to a distributing level. I know I personally have always wanted to clone myself for the mundane tasks of my life but after reading this, I am no longer interested in that idea, haha! Evelyn is a genius scientist that can clone humans. Her ex husband creates a clone of her without her knowledge and of all the things he liked about her and wants/needs in a significant other. What he doesn’t anticipate is the “human” need to protect oneself. The story takes you through the ups and downs of cloning in a very basic way and makes you think about the ramifications of cloning, creation, and life. There are twists, turns and betrayal. The author is a very interesting storyteller and looking forward to her next tale.
