The Echo Wife is a dark, twisty, sci-fi thriller that is a must-read for those who enjoyed Sarah Gailey's previous book.
This book definitely came out of left field for me because I was shocked by how easily I could get into the story and be thoroughly entertained. While I wasn't completely enthralled that this was just going to be a domestic thriller with a slight twist, I'm glad The Echo Wife went a little bit above and beyond to give an original, new, and exciting experience.
If you thought Magic For Liars was a treat I think you will especially enjoy this with the same fast-paced writing and a plot that relentlessly makes an interesting read. Luckily, I was able to knock this one out all in a single night with zero pit stops!
If this were to be five stars I almost think Sarah Gailey could hone into maybe even bringing some comedy into her books, because I really think with a little bit of self-awareness The Echo Wife could be simultaneously funny (which usually isn't something I recommend.)
If Gailey's next book can bring the same amount of excitement and writing while also advertising a more fresh concept, I will probably be stunned by what she writes next.
