My first impression of the book is that there is way more going on then there seems to be. It seems like a book were you want to happen next and you feel compassion for the main character Evelyn.
I also believe that this book will be a slow burn. But the end of chapter three has me wanting to know what happens next. has something happened to her husband, will Evelyn ever tell everyone the truth, there are many questions to be answered still.
I like the cover of the book as it is simple but it still catches my eye and makes me want to see what the book is about.
