Evelyn is receiving an award in research cloning from what I gathered and is also thinking about her husband Nathan and the dress she wore on her wedding day and comparing it to the dress she is wearing to this banquet. The weird thing I noticed about her is that she kept saying in her head that she had never met certain people that I would think she should have definitely met. I have enjoyed reading this portion of the book and would love to find out more about Evelyn and Nathan and Syed and even Martine.
